RCMP looking to reunite jewelry with owner

Squamish RCMP are on the lookout for a missing engagement ring fused with a wedding band.

“RCMP are looking to reunite the owner with their beloved jewelry and are asking for the public’s assistance to provide any information that leads to the recovery of the ring or anyone involved in the theft,” wrote Cpl. Sascha Banks in a news release.

Police say that while the owner of the ring was away camping, another family member held a gathering at that person’s home.

It’s suspected that this was when the ring went missing.
