The former Voice contestant and Team Blake Shelton member announced that her longtime boyfriend Josh Davis popped the question yesterday. “Best night of my life,” she wrote on Twitter, and also shared a sweet collage of photos showing the proposal as it went down.
“Of course I start dancing after he asks me to be his wife,” she captioned the picture.
According to Us Weekly, who first broke the news, Davis, 24, led his 21-year-old ladylove on a scavenger hunt of clues all leading to memorable places for the couple before getting down on one knee at Belmont University in Nashville.
RaeLynn also posted a close-up of her sparkler and whoa mama! Davis did a fine job.
The pair have known each other since she was 18 years old and competing on the TV reality show in 2012.
“My life has been so crazy with my singing career and traveling and being 21, but you can’t plan when you’re gonna meet ‘the one.’ When it’s right, you just have to go with it,” she tells Us. “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him.”
After getting eliminated in the quarterfinals, the country crooner kept in touch with Shelton, and is even currently on tour with Miranda Lambert!
